Organ building work shop
|
The master organ builder, Walter Vonbank, founded his company in 1988 and settled on a mountain farm in Triebendorf near Murau. The modern work shop successfully combines the philosophy of modern and classical design. Traditional methods of workmanship unite with modern technology and state of the art design.
Every part used for the construction of the organs is produced in the workshop, sometimes using age old handicrafts (tongue and groove, nut and spring).
The organs made by master craftsman Vonbank are played all over the world, from the Cathedral in Graz to as far away as Seattle.
